This month in Pictures.. So far.

It's seriously nothing new when I say that I take a lot of pictures.
Sorry..
However, just be thankful you aren't getting a bazillion texts of Joseph pictures every day.. Like my Mom and sisters BWHAHAHAHA.. For that ladies, I'm not sorry. ( were 14 hrs away.. Soo I've gotta keep the J love alive!)

If you feel like you need more pictures of J in your life.. Feel free to follow me on Instagram ( NWebb820). Or even on Facebook!  Facebook.com/OurHumbleWebb

So here is what we've been doing recently!

Some of these I may have already shared.. Oh well.

Joseph celebrated his 1 year birthday.. Here in Nebraska. We celebrated this one closer to his 13 month mark. Since J was born 12/31/12 and we were in Tx, we had a birthday for him there with My family and then celebrated here in NE once we got settled in to our new home!

We have been sticking out our tounge and figuring out ears, eyes and noses..  He loves to play with his ears.
J also sprouted tooth 9 and tooth 10! He's my little alligator!

My sister gives Home made body scrub for Christmas gifts! I ran out of mine quick this year and needed some more in my life.. I also decided that my lady friends here need them. So I made a bunch for valentines day!
J and I attended our first MOPS meeting! Joseph loved the daycare and made some new friends, I enjoyed the time with other moms and meeting new people! After our fun at MOPS we ran some errands and Joseph decided that even if it's snowing and crazy cold... He was going to take off his shoes and socks.
Over the weekend.. We all fought a cold. J didn't seem to mind his too much but heaven forbid I wipe his nose! Ahah
There was plenty of puppy snuggles to go around with everyone home sick.
My sister (The Foodette) had a Birthday on Sunday! I'm pretty sure I blew up her social media and phone for it ahah! She also shares a Birthday with our Angel Grandpa! Yes, this is an old pic and of course I'm rocking that blonde-ish crazy hair.
J got his second Highlights baby Magazine! He loves them!!
J likes to snuggle with his Pups at night.. After a full day of chasing and tormenting them lol
We celebrated my brother in Laws 30th birthday! He enjoyed a big 3lb lobster!
Joseph was on his best behavior during dinner.. Except when he wanted to share with his Aunt. Ha ha
Joseph ate a whole bowl of peas! And then wanted more! Let's hope his love for veggies keeps up!
Oh and hey! I lost some more weight!

Hope y'all have a great valentines day!!
What kind of plans do you have for valentines day?!

Pumpkin Patch!

This Saturday we hit up the Pumpkin Patch! I was a little nervous that the weather was going to be a bit chilly, honestly we ended up getting a little warm with our light jackets on! It was a fun little family outing, Adam and I can't remember ever going to a real farm pumpkin patch before.. So we felt like little kids again! Ha!

Enjoy some pictures!

Miles of Pumpkins! And a "Giant sprinkler!" As my City girl self called it after I moved here from Austin, Texas! Ahaha!! ( I really had no idea what they were called.)
My Guys, excited to find a pumpkin! Behind them is the tractor that pulled us to the patch on some hay!
Joseph was loving all of the big pumpkins.
Ha! That face!

One of the piles of pumpkins by the entry. So pretty and so cool to see the different colors and designs!

I wanted this pumpkin! How beautiful is it?! But I wouldn't be able to carve it! Ha-Ha
Boo!

Adam and Joseph went down the hay slide. Joseph actually liked it! I was nervous that he wouldn't but he did alright! ( can't see it but he's smiling under his jacket lol)
Twins! Haha sorry for the sunny face Joseph! Behind him is the coolest thing ever! It's like a bouncy house in the ground! My poor Husband wanted to go jump! I won't lie, I wanted to as well.. Buuuuttt, it's not for adults lol.

This had to have been one of my favorite parts. We're big animal lovers.. And Joseph was just going nuts with the goats! They would come up and sniff him, Joseph would laugh and smile really big!
Watching the baby goats, waiting to pet one.
Family Corn maze time! This was pretty fun. However I won't lie, I started to have a little anxiety while in it..it happens in closed in places lol. It was cool to see how corn grows though! I had no idea the roots come above ground! They look like little legs!

We had so much fun! There was so much stuff to do, and we kept talking about next year when Joseph is a bit older and can do more and play on the play grounds or really appreciate picking out his own pumpkin! Thanks to Adams job, we got two pumpkins for free and lunch for free as well! We bought one pumpkin that we picked out which only ran at $.25 a lb!
We got back home as the sun was setting, then Spent a little time playing with our Puppy in the back yard playing with the grass and watching her run around like a wild dog.

Pumpkin carving is planned for Tuesday night! ( don't worry, no knives for Joseph)

Rag Doll

Do you ever just feel like your life is treating you like a rag doll?
You know, one arm being tugged on by one life choice, and the other being tugged on by another?

Like job choices.. Or moving choices..
Buy a house or continue to rent..
Sometimes I would love to see what the future had in store.. But then of course, I like the mystery.

I have anxiety. I stress. I'm a Mom.
My world has completely changed since the birth of my son.
I'm not the same loud and crazy girl all the time anymore. I've Grown up.. It's what you do.

I don't like the town we are living in, this is not a new fact..and we'll I know I have made it known. However, I am thankful.
My husband is here, my child was born here. And Honestly, my husband has a wonderful and rewarding job here.

I personally wouldn't mind moving back to Texas. Yep.
:: Why don't you?::
We talked about it.. Seriously. We made plans, and even started looking at places in Austin to get an idea of what part we would want to be in..
Conclusion-
Well, it's not what is best for my family.
Yes, I have my parents and my sisters there.. And don't get me wrong it would be wonderful to be back. However, as much as I don't want to be here. I can't help but feel like this is where God needs us to be right now. We are really starting to get a grip of this while "parents" gig.. And right now.. It just isn't the right time for us to leave.
In due time, we will end up exactly where we need to be.. It may not be Nebraska, it may not be Texas.. Who knows.

I honestly started getting really frustrated and angry at God for the last few months.
I'm battling my own Demons and feel like I have the weight of the world on my shoulders.
I have the Devil pulling me one way, and God pulling me the other.
I have to cut out the negative in my life. I can't focus! I have my own family now to worry about.
I've spent many nights awake, as my mind wonders and just trying to figure things out. I've been crushed by my job.. As well as other personal situations.
So I started to Pray.

During those nights that I couldn't sleep, I would read other blogs from new moms and many Faith writers.. Where I came across a woman's online bible study group.. Just what I needed!
I've recently joined up with She Reads Truth
Im currently on the woman of the bible..Even though the group is on Daniel, I decided to start on my own.
I started with Women Of The Bible Part1, and cried on almost all of the devotion contents. It really hit me. Hard.
How can I be so selfish? And Why am I not thankful for God every day?

Honestly, I was frustrated with God and with myself for our struggles.. My husband was having some hardship with his job and we were having a hard time making ends meet.
I was frustrated with God for my battles, my Postpartum  Anxiety and depression made me feel like my marriage was failing..when It wasn't.

I was angry at other life situations. And really contemplating many changes.

It's all in his timing.
Our struggles only make us stronger, as a couple and as a family.
I have learned so much while "penny pinching" our months away.
I am thankful for the fact that yes we were tight..but we paid our bills..we kept food on the table and a healthy HAPPY baby boy.

There comes a point in life, when you have to do what is best for you and your family.

God only gives us what he feels we can handle.

What kind of life changing choices have you and yours had to make?

7 Months

7 Months old!

Boy has it been a whirlwind just since last month!
J is one wild child!
Since my last update, we have taken a road trip to IL for a family reunion, where J got more than enough attention and love from Family!

J and I ventured out for a TWO hour drive to the airport. yeaahh..
We picked up my Mom and Sister and loaded up the car for our 8 hr drive!
It was wonderful having those two drive with me and spoil J! Made the trip a lot faster and less stressful on me for sure.

My Grandma made this cute hat, with intentions of it to be a little bigger than it was.. Oops! We all got a chuckle out of J wearing it though!

July 5th- (6 months old)The day J started crawling. I'm talking little wobbly and kinda scooting crawling.
By the end of July he had his crawl Down. And was he on the move!

By the time August 5th came around, J decided to pull up on EVERYTHING!
And a few times would give me a slight heart attack!

Yes, he is standing on top of his piano and is very pleased with himself!

Food- we've moved on to more finger foods and things that J can chew/Gum.
Little cubes of cheese and Gerber easy pick up foods.
I am still making a lot of his food for him, now we just have a little more variety.

7 month stats- 20lbs! Whoa!  6 teeth have surfaced 3 on bottom and 3 on top.  However it looks like there may be more coming through. He is still a month ahead of schedule and of course loves the nurses at the Dr Office. After his Shots they gave him a big red shiny sticker. It helped his tears a bit.. But he wouldn't let go of me.

We have retired J's baby bath and moved to the tub. It was a bitter sweet moment for us. J loves to stand in the tub though. Seriously, I think I'm going to have a runner on my hands.
We're pretty sure he's going to be walking soon.. He has started to stand a bit on his own and all he wants to do is pull right up.
We have had many spills and a few tears from them, but he realizes he's ok and starts playing again.

Our Hotel stay before my Mom and Sis went back to Tx. We took J for his first Big Pool experience. (Indoor pool) it was a little chilly so we sat in the hot tub and let him splash.. J loved watching the older boys jump in the pool and horse play.

His eyes are still BLUE!  We're really hoping they stay, however I'm sure they will change to brown.

I have found that when the batteries in Js toys get low.. The toys will start randomly playing their tunes.. Or moving. This is the CREEPIEST thing ever! Especially when J is down for a nap and I'm in the other room.. And hear "let's go for a drive! Push me!"
Yeaahhhh..
I would turn it off.. But J decided to throw it and broke the handle.. I suppose ill break out the screw driver and change the batteries hahah!

Sleep- we have been trying to keep J on a routine. With these teeth ALL coming through at once it's been rough nights. My husband and I decided on a routine and it's been helping with sleep.
-Bath time for 10-15 mins in a warm bath with night time soap.
-PJs and night time diaper and lotion.
-Bottle mixed with some Baby cereal.
And if he's not already asleep by the time he finishes his bottle we play a little till he starts rubbing his eyes and then rock him to sleep in his nursery.
I like to keep pandora on low with the Nursery station on. It's so soothing sometimes I almost fall asleep while rocking him! Ha!
This routine has started to work. And J has been sleeping almost through the night! I always forget to think about his Teeth and maybe that's why he wasn't sleeping.. When I saw during his bath how many had come through, I felt kinda bad. Poor guy had so many at one time!

I am trying to wean J off of BFing. I wanted to make it to a year, but these teeth are not helping things. Almost 8 months is good for me though. And trust me, this boy is HEALTHY!

Alright, nap time for my little man.

Later Y'all!

Happy Part-Time Housewife

Its a Proven FACT that a sink full of dirty dishes can make one feel dirty and down.

How do I know this? Because I have tried it on myself..many times.

It's amazing how much better I feel when the kitchen alone is clean, and how AMAZING I feel when the house is clean.

Maybe it's just something with my Anxiety? Clutter and random stuff all around the house.. makes me feel like i'm closed in a glass cage of emotions. Ok, So maybe not that dramatic.

Don't you dare sit there and think "Oh, wow she must be super clean and organized!"
Yeah, you are 75.5% wrong.

I will not lie, This house can be a pit. With a 5-month old needing any and all of my attention sometimes I put the cleaning on the back burner. When we first moved in, I told myself that I was going to keep up with cleaning, keep everything organized and it was going to be so nice and stress free... I Lied to myself. Dirty DIRTY Liar I was. No Pun intended. Now don't go thinking we are living in filth and I should be on Hoarders, because uh... NO.

I HATE LAUNDRY, Seriously.. I will do any other cleaning.
My Husband goes through about 2 outfits a day.. You would think that after dealing with his Army laundry I would be used to it..No. There is ALWAYS laundry in this house.
Depending on how J is, He will go through a few outfits a day as well..and Bibs.. and Blankets... and Toys. Haha.
And well, I am just as guilty. I stay at home with J and then work at night.. Yep, thats about 2 outfits for me as well.

Once J starts crawling, By the looks of it..it will be soon! We need to keep this house a bit more tidy. And by WE I mean WE, Myself and my husband! When J is old enough to clean up his own toys and pull them out again.. we will hit that nail on the head. The wife isn't the only one who makes a mess in the house, therefor the Wife shouldn't be the only one cleaning..and I am not the only one. I adore it when I come home from work and the dishes are done or the living room has been picked up.

The moral of making our house sound like a disaster hole, I have come up with a helpful House cleaning schedule. Now, Please keep in mind that I don't always follow it to a "T" and If I cant get to it one day I don't beat myself up. Our Child is growing and learning every day..And as I've seen before "Please excuse the mess, We're making memories." You really can't understand that until you have a child.

Feel Free to Print these out and keep on your Fridge, Share with Friends or Pin. If you do, Please give my Blog the credit. Why? Because thats the Nice and respectful thing to do.

Yes, I used the Note Pad on my Ipad, I am just THAT cool.
