Summer so far

Our Summer so far::

I've been eating better, counting calories and working my way to being healthy and of course trying to lose some weight.
I've been at it for 20 days straight, logging all of my meals with the 'My Fitness Pal' app and I've been taking walks with some girls from work as well as bike rides with J and more!
I keep track of my journey with the apps  My Fitness Pal, Run Keeper and I just got myself a Fit Bit! If you would like to help keep me motivated and share any tips, advice and POSITIVE feedback I would love it!

I've been trying to keep J busy, trips to the park, neighborhood pool, the library, flour painting and more

J got his FIRST HAIRCUT! Adam needed one and well, J was looking a bit girly haha. He wasn't very excited about it but was happy to get a sucker at the end.

Chomping on some apples!  He has a mouth full of teeth at just 18months! Whoa man.

After 15days of counting calories and working out.. I felt horrible because I wasn't seeing results on the scale.. It all changed when I saw a lower number! Woo hoo!

If you've been watching the news you know about the storms in Nebraska.. We had a scare Friday and well sadly our Car didn't take the baseball sized hail too well! Adam had gone to run an errand and couldn't get the car under anything. Luckily he wasn't in the car or driving when the hail hit.

My husbands company has a Company Picnic every year. This year J was able to enjoy some of the activities! We didn't win anything at the drawings but J enjoyed a few rides. Don't worry, he is buckled up nice and tight.

I'm still going strong keeping my self on track and trying to eat better!
I allow myself a cheat day during the week and my husband has been helping to keep me motivated. I can already tell a difference in my skin, my mood, my energy levels and some of my clothes are fitting better!

I LOVE grapefruit, sadly with all the acidic fruits I've been eating my mouth has been hurting! Ouch!

We've been to the pool a few times, it's about a 15 minute walk from my house. J  doesn't know a stranger and will play with all of the kids and sit for a chat with anyone who is willing to listen to him babble. What a sweet boy.
I bought a front bike seat called the ' Wee ride' we've gone on a few bike rides and J loves it! It's nice to change the exercise up a bit.

This was before his haircut of course. Uncle Jeff requested a Mohawk.. Js hair was pretty long and he just got a curly Mohawk instead haha.

We've been keeping busy around here, I've been trying to 'disconnect' from social media and such and focus on spending my days with J and having family time. That's why I've been slacking on the posts as well..

Thanks for catching up with us!

This month in Pictures.. So far.

It's seriously nothing new when I say that I take a lot of pictures.
Sorry..
However, just be thankful you aren't getting a bazillion texts of Joseph pictures every day.. Like my Mom and sisters BWHAHAHAHA.. For that ladies, I'm not sorry. ( were 14 hrs away.. Soo I've gotta keep the J love alive!)

If you feel like you need more pictures of J in your life.. Feel free to follow me on Instagram ( NWebb820). Or even on Facebook!  Facebook.com/OurHumbleWebb

So here is what we've been doing recently!

Some of these I may have already shared.. Oh well.

Joseph celebrated his 1 year birthday.. Here in Nebraska. We celebrated this one closer to his 13 month mark. Since J was born 12/31/12 and we were in Tx, we had a birthday for him there with My family and then celebrated here in NE once we got settled in to our new home!

We have been sticking out our tounge and figuring out ears, eyes and noses..  He loves to play with his ears.
J also sprouted tooth 9 and tooth 10! He's my little alligator!

My sister gives Home made body scrub for Christmas gifts! I ran out of mine quick this year and needed some more in my life.. I also decided that my lady friends here need them. So I made a bunch for valentines day!
J and I attended our first MOPS meeting! Joseph loved the daycare and made some new friends, I enjoyed the time with other moms and meeting new people! After our fun at MOPS we ran some errands and Joseph decided that even if it's snowing and crazy cold... He was going to take off his shoes and socks.
Over the weekend.. We all fought a cold. J didn't seem to mind his too much but heaven forbid I wipe his nose! Ahah
There was plenty of puppy snuggles to go around with everyone home sick.
My sister (The Foodette) had a Birthday on Sunday! I'm pretty sure I blew up her social media and phone for it ahah! She also shares a Birthday with our Angel Grandpa! Yes, this is an old pic and of course I'm rocking that blonde-ish crazy hair.
J got his second Highlights baby Magazine! He loves them!!
J likes to snuggle with his Pups at night.. After a full day of chasing and tormenting them lol
We celebrated my brother in Laws 30th birthday! He enjoyed a big 3lb lobster!
Joseph was on his best behavior during dinner.. Except when he wanted to share with his Aunt. Ha ha
Joseph ate a whole bowl of peas! And then wanted more! Let's hope his love for veggies keeps up!
Oh and hey! I lost some more weight!

Hope y'all have a great valentines day!!
What kind of plans do you have for valentines day?!

Things to be thankful for/ 2014 Goals

*My keyboard is acting up, please excuse some extra letters if I don't catch them *

Its a new year, were in a new home and well.. there is a lot to be thankful about, a lot to smile about.
we have our health of course, a roof over our heads, food in our fridge and heat in our home during this crazy winter season. All of these truly make me smile. I take advatage of them every single day.

Our son had his 1 year well visit yesterday. 1 year yall! can you believe it? Because Im still having a hard time. I love this stage of his life though, hes growing, learning, curious about everything and staring to really talk!!

So I woke up this morning, sat down with my morning coffee and greek yogurt and thought, I should make a list of goals for 2014. Instead, I wrote thank you cards from Christmas/ J's birthday.  Now, It still eats at me, what are some goals? Well, Ive already started my goal of eating cleaner and better. I would love to become more involved with my blog and keeping memories of projects around the house. Another goal is learning to cope and relax when my anxiety gets bad, stop being so hard on myself and learn to let go & let God take over. I want to get Joseph more involved with the Library here and take advantage of the free kids groups around town. I would also love to meet up with some of the other Nebrask Bloggers!
As we move forward with the year, Im sure I will come up with more goals for myself.

I would love to hear any goals you have for yourself or your family! I'm always about supporting each other in meeting our goals!

We've been busy!

My husband and I finally signed for our new ( to us) 1923 home! Only a few days pushed back, we finally got our first home!

Moving out of our rental and into our new home in 3 days was rough work. Especially with the events leading up to our move.
I would like to thank everyone who helped out with the move and watching Joseph, as well as everyone who have their thoughts, prayers and well wishes as we laid Adams grandmother to rest that week.
I will happily say that next time, I don't think we will be buying a home right before Christmas!  We were contacted by HGTV House Hunters to film our journey. Sadly, we could not film due to the timing and Holidays.

We moved Friday-Sunday and Sunday night at midnight we packed up and headed to Texas for Christmas!

It was sooo wonderful getting to see my family and some friends! We had so much fun and could not thank everyone enough!
Joseph and my BIL taking a stroll. J loves his Uncle Jeff!

My Momma! (Grammy)
Joseph was real quick to master those stairs! Both up and down.
Now he is opening doors at our new house! Ahh

My Momma, sisters and myself all had a girl night at a painting place in Austin! It was so much fun and now I want to paint everything! ( ok, not everything..)

And then on December 31st, our little man Turned 1! (My husband shares his bday as well!) I managed to cry after J smashed his cake up, I did better than I thought I would though.. I figured I would have been crying a lot more haha!
J was just sitting there looking so cute, so of course I snapped a few pics!
My sister ( The Foodette) did a great Job baking the cakes and getting the food together!
Yup, that's a huge smash cake! Lol don't worry he didn't eat it all.. Poor guy was already so tired from playing!
J loved the extream fun bouncy house place. Adam helped him figure out the toddler section. Once J got a hang of it he went wild!

For my Husbands birthday celebration, we all went to Top Golf! Adam was in heaven! We had two cozy ports on the very top floor! Everyone had a great time!
We all headed back home to ring in the new year, except we were all in bed before midnight. Haha!

We're back home now, unpacking and deep cleaning everything. Adam had already fixed the plumbing for our shower in the basement, ripped up the old caulk in our bathroom upstairs and deep cleaned the shower and bathroom.  I've been busy unpacking and organizing the kitchen, dusting like crazy (I'm not sure the previous owners ever dusted) and of course deep cleaning! Our house is starting to feel like a HOME and I can't wait to start painting! There is still so much to do and so many years to do it all :-P
With the wild winds and winter weather we are staying put inside and relaxing a bit between unpacking.

Our start to 2014 has been great so far! I'm working on eating better/ cleaner, so far everything is going great! If you have Instagram feel free to follow me
( NWebb820) any support is always welcome!

Can't wait to share more house pictures and future projects!

Happy New Year, y'all!
